Candidatul Ideal

  • Has a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in sales, business development and deal support, procurement (especially in the field of financial services). Having knowledge of tender process and the Tax environment is a nice-to-have.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business/finance or related field.
  • Has some exposure to an international environment.
  • Has a fair understanding of the professional/ financial/ advisory services, capabilities, and solutions.
  • Is fluent in English (C1/C2 Level), any other foreign language would be a plus, but not mandatory. English business communication skills are an advantage.
  • Resilience, capacity to work with short deadlines in a team or in an autonomous manner and flexibility/agility are also necessary for the role.
  • Excellent communication skills: self-organization and inter-personal skills are a must, as well as capacity to interact with a variety of senior stakeholders, partners, leadership/executives, colleagues - ability to understand complex topics and interact with all levels of management at different hierarchical levels. Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Organization and prioritization skills to ensure deadlines are met and projects managed.
  • Developed capacity to structure and organize complex information flows and project manage multiple deadlines and tasks.
  • Technology skills in both day-to-day office software (familiar with MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook). Any CRM and potential cloud-based proposal preparation software experience is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, with a positive attitude.
  • Curious mindset with interest in business related topics.
  • Flexibility and openness to constant changes in a dynamic environment.

About the role
The core element of the role will be supporting the Mazars partners and the senior members in the team in attracting new customers/developing the business, mainly through involvement in Requests for information/quotation/proposal (RFx) processes. This includes research on new business opportunities, preparation of documentation and presentations in support of bid processes, managing potential risk of conflict checks of prospects, handling administrative tasks (updating and improvement of databases etc.), as well as activity related to projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support senior colleagues during the management of any new deal-related processes. May directly Support partners during the management of any new deal-related processes by overseeing all aspects of RFP response preparation including detailed briefing, pitch approach, collaborate with countries to ensure suitable responses, meeting precise client RFx requirements and delivering in a timely manner. Give all countries involved background information about the opportunity.
  • Provide active support in drafting RFx information (e.g., but not limited to: collecting quotations from Mazars offices on services in scope for new deals, consolidate information collected in a cohesive & understandable manner, investigate & clarify discrepancies). Work under the guidance of senior colleague/partner in any other aspect related to attracting new customers.
  • Understand and follow the RFx response methodology including data capture, country response processes, quality control processes and outputs of the highest quality to meet the demands of the prospects while working under the guidance of a partner in any other aspect related to attracting new customers/ new scope of services for existing clients.
  • Ensure all the necessary elements of the Mazars proposal are meeting the requirements with the client’s documentation for the RFx.
  • May support the partners in the client presentations (such as setting meetings, prepare the documentations, etc.).
  • Create draft documentation used for responding to RFx & review it with various stakeholders/partners.
  • Complete research on prospects, including financial risk assessments, conflicts of interest, etc.
  • Documenting issues and resolutions as applicable.
  • Manage the Non-Disclosure Agreement process when necessary.
  • Support in creating and improving a knowledge base to be used for the entire team; contribute actively to optimizing the internal processes.
  • Support for improvements projects for the bidding process and related process. Such as, participate and support the senior members in enhancements which can be made to improve the efficiency or quality of the bid process including the use of technology solutions for data, capture or document creation.
  • Using bidding tools and software as applicable.
  • Analyze the results of the tenders and identify the key success factors or factors of failures.
  • Work in a collaboratively manner with the Mazars departments and cross-country teams to ensure alignment of projects (RFx/ internal projects).
  • Support the more junior team members or new joiners in the team to ensure accuracy and structure to the proposal documents production process.
