Junior AML & Credit Analyst

This is a junior-level position within the Credit and Compliance function, suitable for students, recent graduates, or early-career professionals with up to one year of relevant experience.It does not involve independent decision-making or complex analysis and is designed to build a solid foundation in compliance and credit operations.

The ideal candidate has:

• Willingness to learn or ideally 1 year of experience in AML, KYC, credit, compliance, or customer-related roles
• Basic working knowledge of AML and KYC regulations and processes
• Strong learning ability and willingness to develop in AML and credit areas

The role focuses on supporting AML, KYC, and basic credit activities through clearly defined procedures, close supervision, and structured learning. It does not involve independent decision-making or complex analysis and is designed to build a solid foundation in compliance and credit operations.

Responsibilities:

• Support client onboarding and periodic reviews by collecting, reviewing, and maintaining KYC documentation
• Perform basic AML and screening checks in line with internal procedures and guidance
• Monitor the validity of client documentation and follow up on missing or expired information
• Assist with daily screening activities and the handling of system-generated alerts
• Support transactional monitoring activities such as identifying third-party payments
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance and credit purposes
• Provide administrative and data support to the credit and compliance teams
• Assist with simple credit-related tasks under supervision

Requirements:

• Ongoing or completed Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, law, or a related field
• Open to students, recent graduates, or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in AML, KYC, credit, compliance, customer service, or administrative roles

Skills and profile:

• Fluent Romanian and good working English
• Strong willingness to learn and develop in AML, KYC, and credit processes
• High attention to detail and accuracy when handling documents and data
• Ability to follow procedures consistently and ask questions when unclear
• Basic proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word
• Reliable, organized, and comfortable with routine and structured tasks

Compensation package:

• Salary: 5.500 – 6.500 RON NET
• Quarterly performance-based bonus
