Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The Technical Support Specialist will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to our clients, ensuring their satisfaction and success with our products/services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Technical Assistance: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or chat. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to our products/services promptly and effectively.
  • Resolve Customer Queries: Address customer inquiries regarding product functionality, usage, installation, and configuration. Guide customers through step-by-step solutions, documentation, or other resources to resolve their issues.
  • Document and Track Issues: Accurately document all customer interactions, including issues reported, troubleshooting steps taken, and resolutions provided, in our ticketing system. Maintain detailed records to track the status of open tickets and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Collaborate with Internal/External Teams: Work closely with our product development, engineering, and quality assurance teams to escalate complex issues, prioritize bug fixes, and communicate customer feedback and feature requests. Act as a liaison between customers and internal stakeholders to advocate for customer needs.
  • Provide Product Training: Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers to enhance their understanding of our products/services and maximize their usage. Create and update user guides, tutorials, and knowledge base articles to facilitate self-service support.
  • Vendor Contract Management: Manage and maintain contractual relationships with IT equipment and product vendors. Negotiate terms and conditions for purchasing IT equipment and services.Monitor and evaluate vendor performance to ensure compliance with contracts.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Reporting and Budgeting:Actively participate in the creation and presentation of periodic reports to the corporation.Assist in planning and managing the IT department budget.Analyze costs and identify opportunities to optimize the IT budget.
  • Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
    • Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in a software or technology-driven environment.
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues related to software applications, hardware devices, networking, and system configurations.
    • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical users.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving customer issues.
    • Familiarity with ticketing systems, remote support tools.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
    • Prior experience in product training or technical documentation is a plus.
    • Driver license B type.
