Candidatul Ideal

We are looking for an IT Helpdesk Level 1 to join our team at TP Romania (full on site).

Our new colleague will be responsible for the deployment and setup of PCs and PC peripherals, maintaining accurate stock inventory, installing IT equipment on the operational floor, and installing, preparing, packaging and shipping IT equipment to the Work from Home users. The ideal candidate will have hardware and software technical skills, strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, good work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


Requirements
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a Level 1 IT support role;
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of hardware and software; experience with deployment tools such as Tanium is a plus;
  • Basic Hardware Maintenance: Capable of performing light hardware tasks such as replacing hard drives or RAM.
  • Inventory Management: Proven ability to manage and track IT equipment inventory;
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
  • Time Management: Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines;
  • Continuous Learning: Willingness to learn and grow technical knowledge in the IT field;
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to troubleshoot and identify effective solutions within defined SLA parameters.

Job description and responsibilities

PC Deployment:
  • Prepare and configure PCs for deployment according to company specifications.
  • Install and configure operating systems, applications, and peripheral devices.
  • Ensure that all deployed PCs are fully functional and meet the required standards.
  • Provide technical support for PC setup and troubleshooting during deployment.

Stock Inventory:
  • Maintain accurate records of stock inventory, including PCs, peripherals, and other equipment.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and update inventory management systems accordingly.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to manage inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of equipment to prevent damage or loss.

Equipment Installation on the Production Floor:
  • Install and configure equipment on the operational floor according to company guidelines.
  • Ensure all equipment is set up correctly and functions as intended.
  • Work with the operations team to schedule and manage installation timelines.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for installed equipment, addressing any issues that arise, according to company guidelines.

Equipment Installation and Shipment to the Work from Home users:
  • Install, configure, package and ship equipment to the Work from Home users according to company guidelines.
  • Ensure all equipment is set up correctly and functions as intended.
  • Work with the operations team to schedule and manage delivery timelines.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for equipment used in a work from home environment, addressing any issues that arise, according to company guidelines.

Equipment return:
  • Ensure all IT equipment is returned to the IT department when users are leaving the company, according to company guidelines.
