Location: Constanta, Romania - hybrid, with regular in-office presence to support the local team
Main Purpose of the Job: The IT Applications Specialist will support and continuously improve the company's Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM) solution, a business-critical application underpinning global trading operations. The role works closely with business process owners, key users, solution managers and external providers in an international environment.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 2 years of experience supporting enterprise business applications.
- Strong understanding of Incident, Problem, Change and Service Request Management processes.
- Experience working directly with business users, gathering requirements and providing functional support.
- Experience designing and delivering user training, workshops or system enablement programs.
- Experience working with external vendors and outsourced service providers.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced English, both written and spoken; Romanian language skills are an advantage.
- Experience with CTRM platforms (such as Aspect) is an advantage, but not mandatory - training is provided.
- Working knowledge of SAP and/or JavaScript is a plus.
- ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.

- Act as the primary IT point of contact for the CTRM application and related services.
- Provide first- and second-line application support, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, service requests and problems.
- Coordinate and manage escalations with software vendors and third-party support providers.
- Monitor application performance and service quality against agreed SLAs and KPIs.
- Lead incident, problem and change management activities in line with ITIL best practices.
- Perform root cause analysis and drive permanent resolution of recurring issues.
- Maintain and continuously enhance the application knowledge base, support documentation and service catalogue.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation and service improvement.
- Contribute to release planning, testing activities, deployments and change implementation.
- Deliver functional training to new and existing users of the platform.
- Create and maintain user guides, training materials and process documentation.
- Organize workshops, refresher training sessions and knowledge transfer activities.
