The Shift Manager is an integral part of the Management team and as such is required to observe the highest levels of professionalism and provide guidance to the staff. Will assist OCR Manager and Studio Manager to fulfil all requirements for a smooth operation, to the best of his/her abilities.
Key Responsabilities:
-The Shift Manager will administer all operations, ensuring all internal controls are duly adhered to.
-Collaborates with other departments for a smooth operation.
-Monitors the operation, solves the human or technical issues that will occur during the shift and informs the other departments in accordance with our internal rules and regulations.
-Enforces safety, sanitation and internal regulations.
-Monitors operational quality and safety.
-Responsible for handling employee complaints and providing counselling.
-Constantly inspects studios, equipment and decor.Other Responsibilities:
-Ensures that the minimum capacity of the operation is met. In the case that a certain shift is understaffed, he/she will assist the Scheduling department to remediate the situation.
-Monitors operational quality and safety, makes sure that the staff members do not touch the equipment (cameras, lights, sound equipment, AC, etc.).
-Fill in the handover list for the incoming shift with all pending issues.
-Constantly reports to Studio Manager about irregularities that can be fixed during downtime.
Inform Pit Bosses and Dealers of changes or amendments in company policies or procedures and ensure compliance. ---Notify the Regional Manager and Dealer of changes to the Company's policies and procedures and ensure compliance with the new procedures and regulations.
-Responsible for providing any reports required by the upper management.
-Consistently overview the subordinate staff appraisals to make sure that all understand and apply and obey the company procedures and individualize the need for coaching and/or training for the ones that are not performing at the required level.
-Closely observe and anticipate operational staffing needs and make recommendations and adjustments if necessary.
-Enforces proper disciplinary measures when subordinate employees fail to adhere to company policy.
