Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an HR Responsable who will own the compliance, administration, and operational backbone of the HR function — making sure people processes run smoothly, accurately, and within the law, while still being approachable to employees day to day. This is a generalist role with a strong emphasis on labor law compliance, payroll accuracy, policy management, and HR systems, rather than a pure talent-acquisition or culture-building mandate.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, process-minded HR professional who is equally comfortable interpreting labor legislation, auditing a payroll run, and explaining a policy to an anxious employee in plain language. They treat compliance not as a checkbox exercise but as a way of protecting both the company and its people, and they are proactive about spotting risk before it becomes a problem. They bring structure to ambiguity — building or tightening processes, documentation, and controls — without becoming rigid or losing sight of the human side of HR

Job Description

- Ensure full compliance with local labor law, employment contracts, and statutory reporting requirements, keeping policies and documentation current as regulations change.
- Own payroll accuracy and coordination, working closely with finance or an external payroll provider to catch and resolve discrepancies before they reach employees.
- Design, maintain, and enforce HR policies and procedures (leave, attendance, disciplinary processes, onboarding/offboarding, data protection) and ensure managers apply them consistently.
- Manage HR systems and records (HRIS, personnel files, contracts) so data is accurate, secure, and audit-ready at any time.
- Lead or support internal and external audits, inspections, and certifications related to labor and employment matters.
- Handle employee relations issues — grievances, disciplinary cases, contract changes — fairly and in line with legal - requirements.
- Track and report core HR metrics (headcount, absenteeism, turnover, compliance status) to leadership.
- Partner with managers to translate HR policy into practical, day-to-day guidance.
- Generates , checks and submit the mandatory statement to ANAF ( Declaratia 112)
