QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE & KEY SKILLS
· Extensive experience in HR operations or shared services, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
· Strong knowledge of HR practices, systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors), and service delivery models
· Proven experience in leading teams, managing change, and improving processes

TECHNCIAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

The role
  • As Azets continues its growth journey and delivers its pathway strategy, with even more ambitious plans over the next few years, the Azets HR model will evolve to provide a more standardised set of HR services to all markets, whilst ensuring the actions are in place for Azets to be recognised as an Employer of Choice which attracts, develops, engages and retains Smart Talented People.
  • The HR Shared Services Centre Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the delivery of consistent, efficient, and high-quality HR services across the employee lifecycle to all Azets countries (except Finland). This role ensures operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement in HR processes, while managing a service-oriented team and driving the effective use of HR systems. Acting as a key link between employees, HR functions, and the business, the manager plays a vital role in enhancing employee experience and supporting the overall HR strategy.
  • Reporting to the Group Head of HR Operations, this role drives operational excellence, continuous improvement, and compliance in HR processes, systems, and service delivery, supporting key HR activities such the employee life cycle including onboarding, employee data management, benefits administration and HR systems.

Key accountabilities:
STRATEGY & PLANNING
· Develop the Azets group HR Shared Services strategy and implementation roadmap. Work
collaboratively with the business unit People Partner teams to transition all HR administrative and
routine HR advisory tasks to the HR Shared Services team in a planned and effective way.
SERVICE DELIVERY
· Establish and maintain HR Shared Service Centre best practices and ensure that quality of service is provided to the business
· Oversee daily operations of the HR Shared Services Centre, ensuring timely and efficient processing of HR transactions and services
· Work with HR Admin Team Lead UK&I, HR Admin Team Lead Europe, TA Team Lead and Capability/L&D
Team Lead and support them in meeting their team’s goals
· Establish and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure service excellence
TEAM LEADERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT
· Recruit, lead, engage, and develop the HRSSC team, providing direction, coaching, training, and support, promoting a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous learning
· Take an active role in supporting and directly managing HR Admin Teams to deliver Employee Onboarding, Employee & Position Management, Time & Attendance Management, Compliance & Document Management, Employee Separation and Query Management services across Azets
· Ensure that the HR SSC teams are adequately staffed and that there is a healthy pipeline of candidates to ensure that the teams are properly resourced
· Understand the needs of the SSC teams in talent development and work with Azets leadership to address them
ACQUISITION SUPPORT
· Support the integration of new acquisitions, ensuring seamless onboarding of new employees, harmonizing HR policies and processes, and managing employee data migration and system integration
PROCESS & SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT
· Work collaboratively with the Global HRIS Manager and HR Business Analyst to optimise HR processes for efficiency, automation, and scalability to assure high accuracy in HR data entry and reporting
· Collaborate with HRIS and IT teams to maintain and improve HR systems and technology platforms
· Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data and HR records
COMPLIANCE & RISK MANAGEMENT
· Ensure compliance with employment laws, data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR), and internal policies
· Participate in audits and implement corrective actions as needed
STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
· Act as the key point of contact for escalations and ensure a customer-focused approach in handling queries
· Partner with HR Business Partners and Centres of Excellence (e.g., TA, Capability, Culture & Change etc) to align shared services with broader HR strategy
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
· Identify opportunities for improvement in HR processes and services using data, feedback, and best practices · Improvement of HR processes to reduce errors, turnaround time, and manual effort · Successful implementation of automation or self-service tools · Lead or support HR transformation, systems and change initiatives
RESOURCE/COST MANAGEMENT
· Operating the Shared Service Centre within budget while delivering high-quality service · Identifying and realizing cost-saving opportunities without compromising service
