We are waiting for you in the team if you:

• Graduated with a degree (bachelor's) in a technical field.
• Have minimum 5 years' experience in Retail/FMCG.
• Have specialization course in OHS – Advanced level – postgraduate course in assessment; Knowledge of crisis management/BCM and physical security areas is an advantage.
• Speak intermediate or advanced English and have category B driving licence (travel within the country will be required).
• You are detail-oriented with good organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, recognizing priorities and interdependencies.
• Have excellent integrity, communication and interpersonal skills.

This role will require you to:

• Prepare individual OHS training files upon hiring and conduct general introductory OHS training for new employees.
• Distribute individual OHS training files to work team leaders, who are responsible for conducting periodic OHS training.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled checks on compliance with OHS regulations and check the records in the individual OHS training files.
• Keep track of the regulations applicable to the activities carried out and ensures that all personnel understand and comply with the provisions of those regulations.
• Identify hazards and assess risks for each component of the work system, including the worker, the task, the work /equipment, and the work environment at the workplace/workstation.
• Develop and update the prevention and protection plan, prepare the necessary technical documentation for informing and training workers in the field of OHS and develop the training and testing program at the company and/or unit level.
• Monitor the functioning of protection systems and devices, measure and control equipment, as well as ventilation systems or other systems for controlling pollutants in the working environment.
• Monitor the updating of warning plans, prevention plans, evacuation plans and the implementation of measures ordered by labor inspectors during inspection visits and investigations of incidents.
• Prepare reports on work accidents suffered by workers in the company and/or unit.
• Verify in the field (branches, warehouses, mobile construction sites) how OHS/SU measures are being implemented.
• Monitor OHS activities TEMPORARY AND MOBILE CONSTRUCTION SITES (in accordance with Government Decision 300/2006).
