📋Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the finance organization at group level, including recruiting and supervising local Finance Managers and ensuring strong communication between headquarters and international subsidiaries;
Promote a culture of performance, accountability, and integrity within all finance-related functions and departments;
Define financial KPIs, implement performance measurement systems, and establish bonus structures while conducting regular team evaluations and supporting professional development through training and coaching;
Provide financial insights and strategic support to Top Management and the Supervisory Board by preparing relevant financial reports and actively participating in board and strategic meetings;
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records across the group, supervising local internal and external accounting teams and maintaining compliance with local tax and accounting regulations in all countries;
Oversee the consolidation of financial statements and reporting to shareholders and executive management;
Monitor and manage financial risks, including currency exposure, tax risks, and liquidity (cash-flow management), and implement hedging policies where necessary;
Implement and continuously improve group accounting systems and internal financial policies, ensuring proper functioning, upgrades, and compliance with local regulatory requirements (e.g., e-invoicing systems);
Manage relationships with external service providers such as accounting firms, IT developers, and financial consultants when required at group level;
Design and optimize the organizational structure of finance departments across subsidiaries, including the potential implementation of shared service centers to improve efficiency;
Act as the main liaison with external auditors, coordinating the statutory audit process across all group entities, including audit planning, execution, and closing;
Ensure timely completion of audits, address audit findings with management, implement recommendations, and maintain a transparent and professional relationship with auditors;
Coordinate the group budgeting and financial planning process, including annual budgets, rolling forecasts, operational and investment budgets, and business scenario modelling;
Monitor financial performance versus budget, perform financial and profitability analyses across cost centers, business lines, countries, and products, and deliver regular management reports (P&L, cash flow, EBIT, ROI);
Support strategic decision-making through investment analyses (ROI, NPV, payback), profitability assessments, and participation in M&A, due diligence, and restructuring projects;
Establish and oversee the internal audit and internal control framework at group level, including risk assessments, process documentation, compliance monitoring, fraud prevention, and continuous improvement of operational controls;
Maintain direct reporting to the CFO and CEO on key financial matters, including statutory audit findings, internal audit results, and any changes to group or local accounting policies, with reporting to the CEO carried out in accordance with the responsibilities defined in the Job Profile
💼Requirements:
Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional European languages are considered an advantage;
Minimum 5+ years of senior-level experience in finance leadership roles such as Head of Finance, Finance Director, Group Finance Manager, or similar positions;
Strong accounting expertise and solid knowledge of financial reporting, consolidation, and international accounting practices;
Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, controlling, and financial analysis within multi-entity or international organizations;
Good understanding of tax regulations, financial compliance, and risk management in a multi-country business environment;
Experience coordinating external audits and working with auditors, consultants, and financial institutions;
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and support strategic decision-making;
Strong problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and the capacity to identify risks and improvement opportunities;
Solid business acumen and understanding of the current economic and business environment.
Advanced computer and financial systems skills (ERP systems, Excel, reporting tools such as Power BI or similar);
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and international teams;
Leadership capabilities, including team development, performance management, and cross-border coordination;
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills;
High level of integrity, accountability, and professional ethics;
Ambitious, proactive, and hardworking personality, capable of working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-growing environment.
