This role sits within the **Global Procurement** organization and focuses on the **Travel category**, covering international air, hotel, and ground transportation services. The team manages end-to-end strategic sourcing and category management activities for a complex, global travel program.
The position plays a key role in **optimizing global travel spend, supplier performance, traveler experience, and duty of care**, working in close partnership with the Travel Management team that runs day-to-day operations.This is a **senior, hands-on role**, suited for someone comfortable operating in an international, stakeholder-heavy environment and driving tangible commercial impact.
Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for global travel categories (air, hotel, ground transportation);
Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements with airlines, hotels, travel agencies, and other suppliers;
Manage and develop supplier relationships to ensure cost efficiency, service quality, and compliance;
Analyze travel spend and performance data to identify optimization and cost-saving opportunities;
Collaborate closely with the Travel Management team to align sourcing strategies with business needs;
Support the development and evolution of global travel policies;
Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards, including duty of care and sustainability objectives;
Work with internal product and technology teams on travel management systems (e.g. SAP Concur, Amadeus) to streamline processes and drive improvements;
Prepare reports and dashboards covering KPIs, supplier performance, and spend patterns;
Engage with senior stakeholders across regions to align priorities and drive adoption of travel strategies.
