GIS Specialist with German

• Professional experience in GIS-related roles, ideally within large infrastructure or similarly complex projects.
• Professional experience in construction projects, with understanding of:
  • Project phases
  • Technical terminology
  • Common contractual structures and project processes
• Advanced, hands-on experience with the ESRI software suite, including: ArcGIS Pro; ArcGIS Online; ArcGIS Hub; Survey123; Experience Builder
• Practical experience with Microsoft Power Automate.
• Strong documentation skills, including:
  • Wikis and knowledge bases
  • Tool and process documentation
  • Lessons learned and best-practice materials
• Fluent German and English (spoken and written).

• Experience with script-based processing of (geo)data, both front-end and back-end (e.g., Python).

• Design, implement, and monitor data processes and data pipelines to increase efficiency and data reliability.
• Automate recurring tasks, integrate multiple data sources, and prepare data for advanced analyses and reporting.
• Support strategic decision-making by enabling high-quality, timely, and structured project data.

• Create and continuously improve dashboards based on project-specific requirements.
• Design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces to visualize key metrics and KPIs.
• Operate and maintain dashboards, including regular data updates, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.

• Create, customize, and maintain survey solutions (e.g., Survey123) to capture project-specific criteria and user requirements.
• Ensure precise, structured data collection to improve reporting quality and overall project efficiency.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot the Survey123 platform, including content updates and evaluations.

• Design, implement, and optimize automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.
• Reduce manual effort and ensure efficient, reliable end-to-end operations.
• Operate and support Power Automate workflows, including monitoring, error analysis, and continuous improvement.

• Ensure data quality through regular analysis and reporting of construction data and reports.
• Collect, validate, and report construction-related data to support project management.
• Advise project management on data evaluation, interpretation, and modeling approaches.

• Act as the central point of contact for user inquiries, troubleshooting, and support requests.
• Manage the support inbox, including tracking, resolving, and documenting user issues.
• Administer ArcGIS users, including account creation, maintenance, cleanup of inactive users, and process optimization.
• Maintain and continuously update manuals, training materials, and documentation to reflect system and process changes.
• Conduct training sessions and provide hypercare support for Survey Tools and Construction IT (Bau-IT), including preparation of training materials and reports.
• Monitor and support data processes, pipelines, and notebooks, ensuring stable and high-quality operations.
