About the Role:
We are looking for a German Speaking Accounts Payable Accountant responsible for managing the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, from invoice processing to supplier payments.
The role focuses on ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while contributing to digital transformation and process optimization initiatives within an international finance environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage the full Accounts Payable process:
Invoice posting and validation
Payment processing
Account reconciliations
Financial reporting activities
Verify supporting documentation in accordance with legal and internal requirements.
Handle supplier payment inquiries and clarification requests.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
Participate in monthly and periodic closing activities.
Monitor KPIs and service performance indicators.
Support internal and external audit processes.
Propose and implement process improvements (automation and digitalization initiatives).
Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
Previous experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable represents an advantage.
SAP knowledge is considered a plus.
Advanced Excel skills (Office 365).
Languages:
English – good working proficiency.
German – medium to advanced level (mandatory).
