EXL was incorporated in 1999. Our headquarters are based in New York City, and we operate over 20 state-of-the-art delivery centers in India, the Philippines, US, Czech Republic, Romania, Malaysia and Bulgaria with sales offices in New York, New Jersey and London.
We are seeking a General Ledger Accountant fluent in German.
Professional experience, education, and knowledge requirements:
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
• At least 3 years of practical professional experience in the field of accounting
• Very good Excel knowledge and affinity to IT applications
• Fluent in German and English language
• Team spirit

• Ongoing bookkeeping/preparation of journal entries (Fixed Assets/Leasing/Accruals)
• Assist with monthly closing of financial statements
• Assist with preparation of consolidated financial reporting packages according to US GAAP
• Reconciliation of accounts (including Inter-Company), checking of G/L accounts
• Preparation of balance sheet and income statement analysis
• Ensuring compliance with client accounting and SOX policies
• Assist in SOX self-testing
