ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive General Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in hotel accounting and be responsible for managing Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Cashier functions
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of hotel accounting systems (e.g., Opera, Sun, or similar).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- Fluent in English (additional languages are an advantage)
- Eligible to live and work in the EU

Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Monitor and reconcile guest and corporate accounts.
- Prepare and send invoices, statements, and payment reminders.
- Follow up on outstanding balances and ensure timely collections.
- Maintain accurate records of all AR transactions.
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Match purchase orders, delivery receipts, and invoices.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all AP transactions.
- Collect and count daily cash drops from all departments.
- Prepare daily bank deposits and maintain petty cash fund.
- Ensure proper documentation and cash handling procedures are followed.
- Reconcile cash discrepancies and report to the Finance Manager.
- Assist with monthly closing procedures and journal entries.
- Prepare account reconciliations and financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Support the Finance Manager and external auditors during audits.
