The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of corporate clients, overseeing trading account setup, relationship management, and execution of FX transactions. You will act as a trusted advisor, delivering tailored FX strategies designed to help clients mitigate currency risk while maximising value.

- Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, delivering a range of financial solutions including FX hedging, lending, payments, and cash management
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell a broad suite of financial products, ensuring a best-in-class client experience
- Partner closely with a successful sales team to support new business origination
- Develop a deep understanding of clients’ business models, industries, and strategic objectives in order to propose optimal solutions
- Maintain strong knowledge of market competition to effectively position banking and FX solutions
- Achieve defined KPIs related to revenue growth, client retention, wallet share expansion, and new business generation
- Build long-term client relationships through regular meetings, confidently presenting ideas, proposals, and market updates
- Expand existing accounts and provide structured feedback to internal product and technology teams
- Generate new business through referrals and professional networking within the existing client base
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in Financial Services, ideally within FX sales, dealing, or relationship management
- Background in an established FX institution, commercial bank, or selling financial products to SME and corporate clients
- Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements
- Academic background in Business, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to gain client trust and commitment
- Strong technical aptitude, including risk management and statistical or fundamental analysis
- Demonstrated success in identifying and pursuing new revenue opportunities (upselling, cross-selling, new client acquisition)
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to engage senior stakeholders
- Fluency in Romanian and strong business-level English
