Freight & Customs Team Leader

Requirements:

• University diploma (economics or polytechnics specialization);
• Experience as customs declarant;
• Experience in accessing IT systems;
• Knowledge of the Import Tariff and the Explanatory Notes to the Harmonized System;
• Good knowledge of Incoterms delivery conditions and contractual transport clauses;
• Knowledge of written and spoken English;
• Driving license category B;
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability, ability to set priorities, ability to work with others, ability to lead, initiative, teamwork skills, innovator;
• Good communication skills;
• Good negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Supervises and participates in the correct management of all movements of excisable and non-excisable products between BAT warehouses and third party partners;
• Supervises and participates in completing all daily, weekly and monthly reports (Intrastat, EMCS);
• Efficient coordination of the team;
• Maintaining a good relationship with the authorities.
• Ensure that the internal delivery procedures are respected.
• Check the documents for the deliveries of excisable products.
• Maintains contact with the warehouse for the smooth running of delivery operations.
