We're currently recruiting for Romanian, Spanish, Portuguese, Albanian speakers to join our telephone/video interpreting service. Do you speak English proficiently? Are you looking for a remote position? Would you like to help non-English speakers receive the services they need? Then you are the perfect candidate for us!
Successful candidates should own:

Fluency in English and any of the languages mentioned above (a telephone language assessment may be conducted by our in-house team)
Excellent verbal communication skills
Empathetic demeanour, as the role involves interacting with vulnerable individuals at times.
Pro-active and self-motivated
Organises own time effectively
Right to work in your country of residence
Desire to give back to the community
Passion for the language industry and the desire to develop a career within.

Descrierea jobului

As a telephone interpreter, you will join conference calls with our clients and their non-English speaking service users. These calls will be held on our bespoke telephone interpreting app, either on demand or through pre-booked appointments. You can set your own availability on the app, allowing you to control your working hours.

As a video remote interpreter, you will join video calls with our clients and their non-English speaking service users. This service is pre-booked, and you will receive the details required to access the call for platforms including Microsoft teams, Zoom, Skype and more

The type of calls will include but not are limited to:

Medical appointments
Meetings with public officials
Legal matters and immigration meetings
Social services
Child protection appointments
