Ideal Candidate

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
We are looking to hire a detail-oriented, proactive Fleet Manager with an energetic & positive attitude to manage our day-to-day fleet operations. This role is well suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a keen eye for detail, is capable of working independently, while also effectively communicating with the other departments. This position reports directly to the Director of Compliance and provides opportunities to grow within the company.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong organizational skills, attention to details
Excellent oral & written English language skills
Team player, communicate with various departments / branch managers / drivers.
Multi-tasking
Computer literate: Proficiency in MS office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat professional). A MS Office assessment test will be required.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

NICE TO HAVE:
Any previous working experience within logistics & shipping organizations in roles such as adjacent to: dispatch, routing manager, administrative work
Previous experience working with US companies
Experience working remotely
Experience working later hours (until midnight)

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fleet Administration/Management
-Monitoring and keeping active vehicle inventory
-Ensuring valid documentation (i.e registration, rental/leasing agreements, insurance cards)
-Arranging periodic service for preventative maintenance & driver grievances
-Internal record-keeping of road accidents/incidents
-Operational support (i.e with breakdowns, truck reservations & other urgent needs)
-Networking & developing strategic relations with rental & leasing vendors/providers
-Liaise with relevant departments to ensure operational fluency

Accounts Payable
-Invoices, records & payments scheduling/processing (Excel spreadsheets, providing billing reports)

Insurance
-Ensuring active vehicle coverage by submitting monthly vehicle schedules to insurance broker
-Requesting and reviewing Certificates of Insurance required for vehicle operation

JOB TYPE: Full Time
HOURS: 40 hours / per week – (Monday - Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm USA (EST) business hours / 3:00pm – 12:00pm Romanian hours

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
Competitive salary: $1,700 – $1,900 USD gross/brutto
