Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's goals and objectives.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
- Manage cash flow, investment strategies, and financial risk management to optimize the company's financial resources.
- Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support decision-making processes and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
- Oversee financial accounting and reporting activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, investors, auditors, and regulatory agencies, to communicate financial results and address inquiries.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting the hydro and nuclear power sectors.
