Financial Manager Bran - Brasov

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Financial Manager, located in Bran-Brasov, Romania. As a financial manager, you will play a vital role in reviewing the economic health and overseeing the success of our organization. You will manage all financial activities, analyze financial data and provide strategic guidance to the executive team. Your expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting will be essential in driving the company towards achieving its economic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements;
• Prepare financial reports and forecasts, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements;
• Monitor and manage the company’s budget, expenses and cash flow, ensuring that the financial targets are achieved;
• Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices;
• Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments and similar accounting entries;
• Leading the analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and presenting findings to the board;
• Conduct financial analysis and research to support business decisions and identify areas for improvement;
• Manage financial audits and work with external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory standards;
• Oversee the accounting department and ensure that the financial records are accurate;
• Manage the accounting department by establishing specific tasks for each employee;
• Preparing the balance sheets and all the fiscal declarations after all the date is introduced in the system;
• Manage relationships with banks, investors and other financial institutions to ensure that the company has access to the necessary capital to fund its operations;
• Provide financial guidance and support to other departments, including sales, marketing and operations and help achieve their objectives;
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field;
• 5+ years of experience in financial management or accounting;
• Strong understanding of financial planning, risk management and investment strategies;
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, financial regulations and tax regulations;
• Analytical skills to interpret large volumes of data, spot anomalies and assess risks in economic forecasts;
• Experience with financial management software like SAGA and collaborative tools like Microsoft SharePoint, One Drive;
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills;
• Fluent in English and Romanian (spoken and written);
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
• Strong management and leadership skills.
