- Strong understanding of cost control, commercial terms, and financial analysis
- Familiarity with Romanian accounting software and ERP systems (mandatory)
- Advanced Excel skills (modeling, dashboards, consolidations)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Excellent English communication skills
- Experience in a multinational or complex organizational environment
- Experience improving processes and implementing new reporting structures
- Strong analytical mindset and the ability to turn numbers into actionable insights

Responsibilities
As Financial Controller, you will lead the finance department and ensure accuracy, compliance, and clarity across all financial operations. Your responsibilities include:
Prepare consolidated financial statements for multiple entities
Build dashboards and KPIs to monitor financial performance
Identify overspending, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
Ensure compliance with Romanian accounting regulations and internal controls
Support audit processes and work with external auditors
Validate the accuracy of accounting entries and financial statements
Support business cases for new initiatives or service lines
Analyze financial data to support operational and strategic decisions
Assist in supplier negotiations
Identify cost-saving opportunities, poor ROI, or inefficiencies
Partner with department heads to set realistic financial targets
Conduct variance analysis and highlight risks or opportunities
Improve workflows and internal communication within the finance team
Build a stable, reliable, and well-organized finance function
