FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting; extra accounting certifications are a plus;
• Strong experience on a similar position; experience in telecommunications industry / infrastructure is an advantage;
• Solid accounting and financial reporting & controlling knowleadge (RAS and IFRS);
• Advance English skills (writing/speaking/reading);
• Excelent PC skills: Microsoft Office (focus on Excel, PowerPoint); SAP experience is an advantage;

JOB RESPONSABILITIES in line with group and local requirements:

REPORTING preparation and submission
– Monthly financial reporting - P&L, CAPEX, direct and indirect cash flow, operational result analysis (IFRS), including actual vs. budget controls and variances analysis;
– Annual reporting package in line with group reporting structure;
– Annual Financial Statements, as well as periodical financial reporting, including related documentation;
– Preparation of the company monthly performance report;
– Other periodical or ad-hoc reports, analysis or presentations based on management or group request.

BUDGETING, long term planning, other forecasts preparation and submission
– Development of high quality zero-based company's budget, cooperating with all departments (OPEX, CAPEX and Cash-Flow); periodical reassessment of the business long term plan and related targets;
– Forecasting the future periods financial reports to identify trends, expected results and alignment with budget;
– Understanding and explaining the budget deviations and proposes measures to improve performance;
– Other budget, planning and forecasting activities on management or group request.

CONTROLLING ACTIVITIES
– In-depth control of the accounts balances and transactions, of revenues and expenses; analysis of IFRS vs. RAS ledgers
– Controls the accounting reclasses and transactions, IFRS adjustments (Revenues recognition, IFRS 16, ARO provision, other);
– Control of capitalizations and fixed assets register to ensure reconciliation with accounts;
– Monitoring internally agreed actions and measures with related departments to ensure implementation;
– Development and improving controlling procedures creating interfaces with other business areas;

PROJECTS MONITORING
– Business projects evaluation and monitoring, considering overall business impact in cooperation with commercial, technical, HR, legal, financial, other;
– Business cases assessment for the ongoing company's projects;
– Business impact simulation for various scenarios driven by changing business conditions;

OTHER SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES
Organizing, preparing, coordinating or assisting and supporting, upon case:
– Annual financial audit (IFRS and RAS)
– Group and local internal audit, monitoring of company's activity to maintain risk register, in cooperation with company's departments;
– Assists and offers support to the financial department for the ongoing activity;
– Development of finance and accounting policies, procedures and work instructions
– Development, control and management of finance related projects;
– Systems monitoring for improvements and implementations to ensure legal compliance and efficient reporting;
