The Finance Systems Manager is responsible for the governance, optimisation, and strategic development of finance systems across the group. This role ensures that SAP Business One, Exchequer, other financial tools and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) operate efficiently, integrate seamlessly with recruitment CRM/payroll platforms where necessary, and deliver accurate, timely, and commercially meaningful financial information.
The Finance Systems Manager plays a critical role in safeguarding data integrity, automating reporting, and enabling scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities
1. ERP Ownership – SAP Business One / Exchequer / Other
Act as system owner for SAP Business One
Maintain chart of accounts governance and financial data structure
Oversee month-end system processes and controls
Manage user access, roles, and segregation of duties
Lead upgrades, patches, and system enhancements
Manage third-party SAP partners and support providers

2. Financial Consolidation – SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
Own group consolidation processes within SAC
Ensure accurate multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation
Maintain intercompany elimination rules
Manage group reporting hierarchies
Support statutory and management consolidation reporting
Improve automation and reduce manual adjustments
Drive forecast and budget workflow optimisation within SAC

3. Systems Integration & Data Architecture
Oversee integration between:
CRM systems
Contractor payroll platforms
SAP Business One
SAC
Other financial tools

Ensure clean data flows between front-office and finance systems
Monitor data reconciliation between operational and financial systems
Reduce reliance on manual spreadsheets
Improve master data governance

4. Controls, Compliance & Risk
Ensure financial systems support strong internal controls
Maintain audit trails within consolidation system
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax rules

5. Transformation & Continuous Improvement
Lead finance systems roadmap aligned to business growth
Support acquisition integration (system onboarding & data migration)
Evaluate new tools and enhancements within SAP ecosystem
Improve reporting cycle speed and accuracy

6. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Act as key liaison between Finance and IT
Translate finance requirements into technical specifications
Manage SAP partners and third-party vendors
Provide training to finance and operational users
Support change management initiatives

Qualifications & Experience
Education & Certification
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
SAP Business One and/or SAC certification highly desirable

Experience
3+ years finance systems experience
Group reporting experience
Strong hands-on SAP Business One experience
Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (financial consolidation)
Experience in service sector preferred
Experience supporting multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation
