What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.1–3 years of hands-on experience in accounting or finance.
• Experience in retail, FMCG or another fast-paced commercial environment is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of financial ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience with POS back-office systems is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• English – minimum B2 level / professional working proficiency.

MR.DIY Romania is expanding its Finance team and we are looking for a Finance Assistant to support our day-to-day financial and accounting operations.

If you have experience in finance or accounting, are detail-oriented and enjoy working in a dynamic retail environment, we would love to meet you!

What will you do?

• Reconcile daily retail store cash register transactions, POS card payments and e-commerce settlements.
• Process vendor invoices and support Accounts Payable (AP) activities for retail goods, logistics and store supplies.
• Support Accounts Receivable (AR) activities for corporate or wholesale clients.
• Monitor store petty cash funds, local bank accounts and daily cash flow.
• Support monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities, including accruals and prepayments.
• Assist with daily, weekly and monthly financial reporting to the Group.
• Support payment processing and follow-up.
• Support compliance with local requirements related to ANAF RO e-Factura and SAF-T (D406).
• Work closely with the Finance team, other departments, external vendors and service providers.
