Field Service Technician / Engineer

The ideal candidate will have:
- Secondary/Higher Technical Education.
- Knowledge of mechanics, electronics and software/applications.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical engineering, electronics/electrotechnics or mechanics are a plus.
- At least 3+ years of experience as a field technician/engineer for maintenance services.
- Technical expertise in point-of-sale products, vending machines or recycling equipment is a plus.
- Experience in customer support.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical, electronic or mechanical engineering.
- Strong awareness of safety procedures and practices.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends if requires.
- Intermediate communication skills in English.
- Fully clean category B driving licence.

Field Service Technician / Engineer is an exciting role involving travel, multitasking between solving technical problems and issues as well as educating customers on how to use and take care of their reverse vending machines. The position involves regular work on evenings and weekends to enable the best support for our customers. Working predominantly on your own and sometimes as part of a team for larger installations, you should consider yourself to be a self-starter who is highly result-driven and constantly focused on quality and continuous improvement. You will have excellent communication skills and be comfortable in a customer facing role.

The Field Service Technician / Engineer will:
- Be a member of the RVM Systems Romania installation, service and support team.
- Install, service and maintain reverse vending machines at customer locations.
- Ensure maximum performance of RVM Systems reverse vending machines.
- Educate and support customers on how to use reverse vending machines.
- Look for areas of potential product improvement and report back to local service team.
- Ensure that the inventory of tools and spare parts is always complete.
- Be prepared to work weekends and evenings when needed for installation and service.
- Travel frequently within the area serviced, but also to other areas of the country or abroad.
