At least 2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing (experience in furniture/interior design is preferred).
Experience managing suppliers, logistics, Purchase Orders, and procurement documentation.

Vendor sourcing and supplier management.
Contract negotiation and cost analysis.
Budget, inventory, and logistics management.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of ERP systems (preferred), Studio Designer (preferred), and basic SketchUp or other 3D software (advantage).
Strong communication, negotiation, organization, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
Interior design or FF&E procurement.
Luxury residential or hospitality projects.
Custom furniture production and construction documentation.
Category B driver's license (preferred).
Languages
English: Intermediate to Advanced (required).
Additional languages are a plus.

Role Overview
The Procurement Assistant manages the full procurement process for furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), materials, and accessories used in residential and commercial interior design projects. The role involves working closely with designers, architects, suppliers, logistics providers, and accounting to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to design specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Source furniture, lighting, fabrics, finishes, accessories, and custom-made items from local and international suppliers.
Research, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships.
Request quotations, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
Track orders, production, shipping, and installations.
Coordinate logistics, freight, warehouse deliveries, and resolve delivery issues.
Support material selection (cabinetry, flooring, countertops, paint, plumbing fixtures, appliances, lighting, hardware, etc.).
Maintain procurement documentation, FF&E schedules, budgets, contracts, and inventory records.
Monitor project budgets, procurement costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Assist the design team with product sourcing, specifications, presentations, and client support.
Prepare procurement, budget, delivery, and vendor performance reports.
