• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline required
• Typically requires approximately 5 or more years of progressive electrical engineering experience, consistent with an established technical contributor
• Advanced working knowledge of electrical engineering principles, design practices, and analysis methods
• Demonstrated ability to independently execute and lead moderately complex engineering work
• Proficiency with electrical CAD tools, simulation or analysis software, and engineering documentation systems
• Strong knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Proven analytical and problem-solving capability for difficult and mildly complex technical challenges
• Ability to influence technical approaches and practices within the department at an operational level
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for explaining and advising on technical matters
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

• Independently design, analyze, and develop electrical systems, components, schematics, and layouts using broad electrical engineering principles
• Lead technical execution for assigned projects or major project phases
• Perform advanced engineering calculations, modeling, and component selection
• Interpret and apply electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards to complex design scenarios
• Contribute to technical standards, design guidelines, and engineering best practices

• Plan and execute testing and validation activities for moderately complex electrical systems
• Resolve difficult and mildly complex electrical issues through analysis and application of prior experience
• Lead root-cause investigations and develop effective corrective actions
• Drive moderate improvements to electrical designs, systems, or engineering processes to improve reliability, quality, and efficiency

• Own significant portions of moderately complex projects or complete smaller projects end to end
• Contribute to defining project technical objectives, risks, and deliverables within the team
• Communicate technical concepts with employees within and occasionally outside the department or job family
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and operations to ensure design intent is achieved
• Interface with suppliers and external partners on technical matters as required

• Develop, review, and approve engineering documentation including drawings, calculations, test reports, and specifications
• Ensure technical work meets internal engineering standards, quality system requirements, and regulatory obligations
• Support audits, design reviews, and compliance activities with a high degree of technical accountability

• Provide guidance, training, and technical support to Electrical Engineer I and II employees
• Review engineering work for technical accuracy and adherence to standards
• Share lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement within the engineering team
