Candidatul Ideal

We are seeking a professional and experienced Equipment Engineer to join our team in Romania. The incumbent will be fully responsible for the maintenance of factory equipment (including high and low voltage electrical systems), take charge of factory construction-related engineering work, and ensure all operations strictly comply with Romanian local laws, regulations and industry standards. This role is critical to ensuring the safe, stable and efficient operation of the factory, supporting the company’s production and development goals in Romania.

1. Educational Background
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Equipment Engineering or other related engineering majors.

2. Work Experience
  • At least 3-5 years of working experience in industrial equipment maintenance and factory construction related work.
  • Proven working experience in high and low voltage electrical system maintenance, familiar with industrial equipment electrical control principles, maintenance processes and safety standards.
  • Experience in participating in factory construction, expansion or renovation projects will be preferred, with the ability to independently follow up and manage engineering related work.

3. Professional Competencies
  • Profound mastery of Romanian local laws, regulations and industry standards related to industrial equipment maintenance, electrical safety and factory construction; able to guide practical work with relevant norms.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and maintenance of high and low voltage electrical systems, proficient in using common electrical maintenance tools, testing instruments and CAD drawing software.
  • Familiar with factory construction processes, equipment installation specifications and electrical system layout requirements, able to independently complete project follow-up and acceptance work.
  • Strong on-site problem-solving ability, able to quickly respond to and handle sudden equipment failures and engineering construction problems.

4. Language & Soft Skills
  • Fluent in English and Romanian (verbal and written), able to efficiently communicate with local teams, government departments, contractors and suppliers.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, careful and rigorous work attitude, with good team cooperation and cross-departmental communication and coordination abilities.
  • Able to work under pressure, adapt to occasional on-site overtime work due to equipment maintenance and factory construction needs.
  • Good safety awareness, abides by the company’s and local safety management systems, and pays attention to personal and on-site operation safety.

5. Certifications (Preferred)
  • Hold professional qualification certificates related to electrical engineering (such as Romanian local electrical operation certificate, high-voltage electrical operation certificate).
  • Have factory construction, equipment installation or industrial safety related professional certification.

Working Conditions
  • Work in the factory area in Romania, the working environment is a standard industrial production site, with complete safety protection facilities.
  • Need to conduct on-site inspection and operation regularly, and occasionally work overtime according to the progress of equipment maintenance and factory construction projects.
  • The company provides standard labor protection articles and professional technical training to ensure the safety and professional development of employees.

Key Responsibilities

1. Equipment Maintenance (High & Low Voltage Electrical Systems)
  • Conduct daily inspection, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of all factory equipment, with a focus on high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems (including power distribution cabinets, electrical control systems, wiring, weak current communication, instruments and meters, etc.).
  • Develop and implement regular equipment maintenance plans, record maintenance logs and equipment operation data in detail, establish and update equipment asset archives to ensure traceability of all maintenance work.
  • Repair and replace faulty electrical components, equipment parts and systems in a timely manner to minimize production downtime; optimize maintenance processes and methods to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Carry out daily safety inspections on electrical equipment and systems, identify and eliminate potential safety hazards in accordance with Romanian electrical safety regulations, and ensure compliance with on-site safety operation standards.

2. Factory Construction Related Work
  • Participate in the overall planning, design, implementation and supervision of factory construction, expansion and renovation projects in Romania, focusing on the layout, installation and matching of production equipment and electrical systems (high & low voltage) in the factory building.
  • Follow up the progress of factory infrastructure construction, coordinate with construction contractors, equipment suppliers and technical teams to ensure the quality, compliance and progress of equipment installation, electrical wiring and other supporting works.
  • Conduct acceptance inspections of factory construction projects and equipment installation works, verify whether the projects meet Romanian local construction, electrical and industrial safety standards, and submit detailed acceptance reports.
  • Put forward rationalization suggestions for factory construction, equipment layout and electrical system optimization according to production needs, so as to improve the factory’s production efficiency and operation safety.

3. Compliance with Romanian Local Laws & Regulations
  • Master and keep abreast of Romanian local laws, regulations, codes and industry standards related to industrial equipment maintenance, electrical safety, factory construction and industrial production.
  • Ensure all equipment maintenance, installation, transformation and factory construction work fully comply with Romanian relevant regulations; participate in the review, filing and update of relevant engineering and compliance documents.
  • Cooperate with Romanian local government departments, inspection institutions and relevant authorities for on-site inspections and audits, provide required compliance materials, reports and explanations, and ensure the company’s compliance operation.

4. Other Related Work
  • Manage the spare parts of electrical and production equipment, formulate reasonable spare parts purchase and inventory plans, ensure the supply of maintenance spare parts, and control spare parts costs.
  • Provide professional technical training and guidance for factory operators and maintenance staff on equipment operation, daily maintenance and electrical safety operation specifications.
  • Collect and analyze equipment failure data and operation status, put forward equipment technical improvement and transformation plans to extend equipment service life and improve operation efficiency.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (production, procurement, safety) to solve technical problems related to equipment and factory construction, and ensure the smooth progress of production and construction work.
