Core Education & Experience
· Higher technical education degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Automation
· Relevant professional experience in a comparable technical leadership role, including project management responsibility
· Experience in OEM or Tier-1 environments
Product & Technical Requirements
Product Lifecycle & Technical Expertise
· Experience with full product lifecycle: Concept → design → validation → production → field support
· Understanding of DFMEA, PFMEA, tolerance analysis, and validation methods
· Ability to make technical and system-level decisions
Engineering & Technical Skills
· Ability to make trade-off decisions balancing cost, quality, timing, and performance
· Advanced knowledge of technical drawings
· AutoCAD proficiency is an advantage
Process & Execution Requirements
Automotive Processes & Quality
· Experience collaborating with quality, maintenance and supply chain teams
· Strong knowledge of automotive standards (IATF 16949 / ISO 9001)
· Knowledge of: APQP, PPAP
· Production ramp-up and launch support
· Change management (ECR)
· Root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies (8D, 5-Why)
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
· Solid experience in optimizing technical production and development processes
· Continuous improvement mindset (Lean, Six Sigma preferred)
· Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience in process improvement methodologies:
· Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma
Systems & Tools
· Practical experience working with SAP systems (BoM, ECR, drawings upload, etc.)
Leadership & People Management
· Ability to translate complexity into business impact
· Ability to communicate with executives and non-technical stakeholders
· Proven leadership skills with the ability to:
· Coordinate teams, set clear technical direction and performance expectations
· Manage projects effectively
· Manage schedules, budgets, and resources
· Experience with risk management and escalation
· High ownership and accountability
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrated initiative, autonomy, and accountability
Business & Strategic Alignment
· Ability to align engineering decisions with business objectives
· Strong understanding of cost, efficiency, and operational impact of technical decisions

Job Description

BOAÒ is one of the top players for engineering, manufacturing and distribution of flexible metal decoupling and damping components, pipe and hose systems as well as expansion joints and accumulators for Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial Applications.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a new member to join us.


We are looking for candidates able to fulfill the following major tasks:
· Coordinates the implementation of new projects (equipment, validations, process improvements);
· Responsible for production process optimization and scrap reduction.
· Coordinates the activity of process engineers and ensures achievement of performance targets.
· Improves the allocation of production capacities and equipment.
· Facilitates the management and execution of new products and launch of new equipment in the production area
· Monitors of the progress of departmental projects and reports status updates
· Issues/updates procedures and work instructions for the processes under responsibility.
· Contributes to improving production efficiency through the analysis and planning of workflows and the design of the work area.
· Leads and develop the engineering team to provide best support to all departments in line with specific responsibilities.
· Develop testing systems to ensure the quality of production processes and final products.
· Coordinating technical and operational processes for transformer design
· Ensuring compliance with design rules, standards, and deadlines
· Managing personnel, budget, and investments
· Providing technical consultancy to clients and internal departments
· Implementing and updating design platforms and processes
· Participating in root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures
