Electrical Engineer

• Higher education: Technical University - Bachelor degree (Master degree is a plus) - i.e. Electrical Engineering.

• At least 2 years of working experience in similar positions in engineering companys.
• Working experience in iron making plants, water & gas treatment, Oil & Gas is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Team player, high motivation, positive, can-do attitude, flexibility.
• Highly effective communication skills with stakeholders & suppliers.
• Fluent in English language. Italian language is a plus.
• Manages time and priorities effectively.
• Works well under pressure – managing internal customer expectations, time constraints etc.
• Self-starter – initiates search for new ideas and continuous improvementAbility to coordinate internal/external teams
• Available for international business trips.

• Power distribution design (power balance and main electrical distribution definition) from TOP on the basis of Load List and contractual documentation.
• Electrical Equipment characteristics definition and sizing (MV Panels, LV Panels, MCCs, power transformers, VFD, SoftStarter, Local Panel, Safety Switches, DG set, PFC Equipment).
• Earthing system design (internally up to BE level) on the basis of contractual documentation.
• Lightning system design (internally up to BE level) on the basis of contractual documentation.
• Electrical room definition (internally up to BE level: layout and sections) on the basis of main SDL and electrical distribution and contractual documentation.
• Cable routing definition (internally up to Be level: layout and sections) on the basis of electrical rooms, layout and electrical distribution, with reference to contractual documentation.
• Electrical Bulks characteristics definition.
• Provide technical support to technological functions for Electrical including Procurement and Construction.
• Define and issue Purchase Requisitions (including QCP), Technical Bid evaluations up to Procurement Order for Electrical Equipment and ensure Vendor Follow Up Activities (including FAT) and consequent input to Plant Detail Engineering activities.
