3D Piping Designer (m/f/d)

Our team in Oberhausen is looking for competent and motivated support in Lay-out and Piping.

Qualifications:

• Technical degree or completed university degree in the fields of construction mechanics, mechanical engineering or comparable qualification.
• Relevant professional experience in piping design and planning.
• Well-founded knowledge of the AutoCAD Plant3D application including spec. and catalogue editor.
• Experience with relevant regulations, in particular DIN EN 13480 and Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), preferably also AD-2000 or EN 13445.
• Good teamwork, well-structured and independent way of working, high level of quality awareness.
• Fluent English skills. German as advantage.
• Availability to work from the site in Germany once a month.

Role Description:

• 3D layout and piping design of plants and plant components in AutoCAD Plant3D.
• Preparation of pipe routing concepts and detail design as well as construction and detail drawings.
• Preparation of arrangement layouts for equipment and piping.
• Implementation of requirements from P&IDs, technical drawings and data sheets.
• Presentation of pipe routing concepts in Design Reviews to our customers and internal colleagues.
• Design and calculation of piping supports.
• Preparation of technical documents such as isometrics, layout plans, material take offs and project lists.
• Independent clarification of technical issues with internal specialist divisions.
