- Create detailed 3D models of electrical systems and components using CAD software.
- Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
- Conduct simulations and analyses to validate the performance and safety of electrical designs.
- Optimize designs for efficiency, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for electrical designs.
- Maintain accurate records of design iterations and modifications.
- Work with mechanical engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.
- Provide technical support during the manufacturing and installation phases.
- Assist in the development and testing of prototypes to validate design concepts.
- Make necessary adjustments based on prototype feedback and testing results.
- Ensure all designs adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.
- Continuously improve design processes and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on 3D modeling and design.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and circuit design.
- Experience with simulation tools such as ANSYS, MATLAB, or similar.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certifications are a plus.
