Key Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field;
- 3–5 years of experience in Financial Controlling, Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Cost Management, Consulting, or similar analytical roles;
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements;
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, planning, and controlling processes;
- Experience supporting cross-functional projects and transformation initiatives;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities;
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Banking experience is considered an advantage, but not mandatory;
- Experience with financial planning and reporting tools (SAP, Oracle, Power BI, etc.) is an advantage;
- Knowledge of cost optimization, performance management, and process improvement methodologies.

The Cost Optimization Specialist supports the Cost Optimization Unit by providing financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, controlling and management reporting related to the bank's operating expenses and cost optimization initiatives. The role is responsible for monitoring cost performance, identifying optimization opportunities, evaluating financial impacts and ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of cost-saving initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of cost efficiency and transformation initiatives;
- Monitor project progress, milestones, risks, and dependencies, ensuring timely delivery of agreed objectives;
- Perform financial analysis and business case evaluations for cost optimization projects;
- Track and report cost savings, benefits realization, and project financial performance;
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Operations, and Business Units to identify efficiency opportunities;
- Prepare management reports, presentations, dashboards, and performance analyses for senior stakeholders;
- Support budgeting, forecasting, planning, and controlling activities related to cost efficiency initiatives;
- Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities;
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of project financial information and related documentation.
