Mission of the position:
The General Accountant is responsible for the accuracy and the reliability of the accounting as well as for the closing process for his scope. Moreover, she/he has good transversal knowledges as he can intervene as well on fixed assets as on stocks.
- Ensure the General Accounting activities, in accordance with the established procedures, business rules and SSC
SLA and the financial reporting;
- Guarantee the reliability of the accounts;
- Contribute to General Accounting Process continuous improvement approach;
- Main point of contact of local entities.

Main responsibilities:
Team contribution- Participate in weekly meetings dedicated to General Accounting Process
Contribution to continuous improvement:
-Produce the General Accounting KPI monthly reports for the SSC;
-Participate proactively in the continuous improvement of processes, the updating of procedures and operating methods according to his/her field;
Participate at SSC weekly committee;
Contribution to General Accounting Activities:
Fixed Assets
- Manage asset creation & commissioning, disposal, scrapping, depreciation, impairment, inventory;
- Prepare fixed asset file for consolidation;
- Post financial assets transactions;
Management of monthly/quarterly/yearly closing
- Post provision for risk and charges / equity entries, other closing transactions, inventory write-downs, payroll;
- Perform accounts reconciliation, controlling closing and reconciliation;
- Perform reevaluation of currencies at period-end;
- Extract and communicate the FEC & equivalents;
- Produce specific reporting for the group (monthly / quarterly reporting), financial report FT and local financial statements establishment;
- Perform archiving;
- Update B/S commitments;
- Produce general ledger in local GAAP;
- Treasury.

Pre-requisites to acces the job:

• Control of general accounting process/Bank accounting & treasury reporting;
• Taxes knowledges;
• Analytical skills;
• Financial analysis;
• Skills in IS tool (knowledges of SAP is a plus);
• Knowledge of workflow tool is a plus;
• Good working knowledge of English;
• Communication skills and competencies to evolve in a multi-cultural environment;
• Able to manage different topics on tight deadlines;
• Education: Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting field;
• Experience: min. 2/3 years.
