We're scaling our international operations, and we need two accounting professionals to grow with us. This isn't a back-office numbers job — it's a front-row seat to how a modern, tech-driven logistics company runs its finances across borders.
We're hiring for two roles at once. Pick the one that fits where you want to grow:
- International Accountant — you'll touch clients across Europe and beyond, working directly with teams in Spain, the UK, and Papua New Guinea.
- Accountant – German Operations — you'll become the vital link to our German client branches and help pioneer a fully automated finance workflow most accountants won't get near for years.
Both roles sit inside a Finance Shared Services team that's actively investing in automation, modern ERP systems, and process improvement — so you're building skills that matter, not just processing transactions.
Role 1: International Accountant
Why this role is interesting
You won't be stuck with one ledger or one country's rulebook. You'll manage multiple entities, work across time zones, and get real exposure to intercompany accounting, consolidation, and audit at a group level — the kind of breadth that usually takes years to accumulate.
What you'll own
- Full ledger management for international entities in Odoo
- AP/AR processing and reconciliation
- Bank postings and reconciliations
- Payroll journal entries
- Month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
- Balance sheet reconciliations and reporting support
- Audit file prep and external auditor liaison
- Intercompany reconciliations across the group
- Monthly management reporting and consolidation support
- Cross-border collaboration with finance teams in Spain, the UK, and Papua New Guinea
- Compliance with local standards and group policy
- Process improvement and internal controls
What you bring
Must-haves:
- Accounting experience
- Strong English communication skills (minimum B2 level; you'll use it daily, with everyone)
- Solid Excel skills
- Sharp attention to detail and a structured approach
- Analytical mindset, comfortable solving problems independently
- A proactive, team-first attitude
- Comfort working across time zones with international colleagues
- Appetite for learning new systems
- Full-time availability
Nice-to-haves:
- Accounting degree, certification, or diploma
- Odoo experience
- CargoWise or similar ERP exposure
- Another language (Dutch, German, Spanish...)
- Multi-entity accounting background
Role 2: Accountant – German Operations
Why this role is interesting
Most accounting jobs ask you to maintain a process. This one asks you to help build the next one. You'll start hands-on — keeping two German branches running smoothly during a critical coverage period — then move straight into one of the most advanced automated finance workflows in the business. Get in early, and you'll be one of the people who understands it best.
The path
Weeks 1–4: Keep things running
- Process AP/AR invoices for the Wedel and Willich branches in Odoo
- Match, code, and post invoices accurately and on time
- Chase payment reminders and outstanding receivables
- Work directly with colleagues in Germany to resolve issues
Week 5 onward: Step into automation
- Operate within the automated AP flow
- Support the automated AR flow
- Catch and resolve exceptions in automated invoice flows
- Manage customer reminders and collections
- Help shape ongoing automation and process improvements
- Partner closely with finance and operations colleagues in Germany
What you bring

- AP and/or AR experience
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
