- QA/QC Manager
- HSE Manager
During the bidding stage of a project the Construction Manager is the main contributors to the cost estimation and planning process.
After EPC contract award, liaise and co-ordinate contract requirements with Project Manager, Customer, Engineering functions, Procurement, Logistic department and most important local authorities and Grid Operator within the area.
What are the required skilled?
Technical Skills
Solid knowledge in:
- civil works (roads, foundations, structures)
- installation of PV structures and trackers
- electrical cabling, substations, SCADA
- understanding of international standards (ISO).
- Availability for work on site (full-time)
- Strong leadership and ability to coordinate large teams
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Effective communication and negotiation
- Ability to make decisions under pressure
- Execution deadlines
- Project budget
- Quality level of work
- Zero major HSE incidents
- Customer satisfaction level
- Electrical/ power engineering background from an accredited University in country is preferred. Mechanical background is acceptable
- A Master Degree in Electrical engineering is a plus
- Person must have a demonstrated a track record of successful construction management and exposure to HV substation projects.
- Must have a minimum history of 5 years in facility construction management experience, HV projects being of interest.
- ANRE authorization is a plus
- Fluent in English
- Computer literate
- Category B driving license

1. Execution Management
- Coordinates all construction activities (civil, mechanical, electrical) on site.
- Ensures compliance with the execution schedule and optimizes the sequencing of works.
- Monitors daily progress and implements corrective measures when necessary.
- Supervises the mobilization and efficient use of resources (teams, equipment, materials).
2. Team Coordination
- Leads and coordinates the site management team (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, QA/QC, HSE).
- Ensures alignment of all disciplines to avoid conflicts and delays.
- Organizes daily and weekly progress meetings.
- Evaluates team performance and supports their development.
- Supervises the activity of subcontractors and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Participates in the evaluation and selection of subcontractors.
- Manages any disputes or non-conformities during execution.
- Ensures the implementation of the project quality plan.
- Monitors compliance with technical specifications and applicable standards.
- Coordinates inspections and testing.
- Promotes a strong safety culture on site.
- Ensures that all activities are carried out in accordance with HSE regulations.
- Monitors incidents and implements preventive actions.
- Monitors execution costs and optimizes resource utilization.
- Identifies financial risks and proposes solutions to reduce them.
- Reports the progress of the works to the Project Director / Project Manager.
- Maintains the relationship with the beneficiary, consultant and other involved parties.
- Prepares periodic reports (progress, risks, costs, quality, HSE).
- Identifies technical and operational risks.
- Develops and implements mitigation plans.
