Candidatul Ideal
- Successfully completed degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or mechanical engineering with a commercial affinity;
- Fluent English, MS Office skills, SAP or other ERP relevant knowledge;
- Min 3 years of professional experience in purchasing or in an interface function for series purchasing;

Descrierea jobului
- Maintenance of a global and local supplier base, implementation of the procurement strategies, collaboration within procurement and product group strategies;
- Project management for production relocations and the establishment of secondary suppliers;
- Support material transfer data for specific projects, data gathering, coordination with Lead-buyers and Planning Supply Chain, set up data in the SAP, create Info record, local contracts and schedule agreements, management of master data;
- Identify categories of materials suitable for local sourcing (e.g packaging, labels, fasteners, printing, plastic injection molding, cable harnesses etc), conduct market research, identify and select capable suppliers based on project requirements and execution of tenders (e.g. RFP, RFI, RFQ, and RFB), analyze and compare offers, new source proposal and prepare decision template;
- Conducting price negotiations and drafting contracts considering a total cost approached that includes quality and logistics aspects;
- Supporting new parts and technical changes as well as coordinating procurement activities up to series release;
- Identifying savings potential through alternative component selection and suitable future technologies;
- Team member and project coordinator for materials management for new developments and model updates;
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with purchasing activities, Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with STIHL company policies and regulations;
- Provide regular updates on purchasing status, including cost analysis and supplier performance.
