Descrierea jobului

Job Description

The Command-Control–Communication and Intelligence Centre (C3i) operators are core members of the Operations Department of NSSG. Working in a fast-paced 24/7 operations centre, they are responsible for the maintenance of the flow of communication within the company and the establishment of a “common operating picture”. C3i Operators are responsible for maintaining a clear flow of communication between NSSG headquarters (Bucharest, Romania) and the teams deployed on risk management operations worldwide. In doing so, they need to be able to quickly collect, analyse, and act upon a large number of information to ensure the undertaking of the best course of action during a mission.

As NSSG’s core mission is to enable its clients to operate where others can’t, C3i Operators need to be able to distinguish between noise and relevant matters and to allocate their time and efforts to address any urgent crisis situation that may arise. Being a C3i Operator is a demanding but equally rewarding job, as it involves being entrusted with the responsibility over potentially critical situations. The C3i is, at the same time, the first responder during a crisis situation and the focal point of most routine activities, meaning that its members are required to maintain constant attention to details while being able to react fast in case of need.

The tasks of the C3i Operators include, but are not limited to:
▪ Actively monitor the multiple C3i systems and constantly be updated on the developments on the ground to detect potential threats that may affect any NSSG operation.
▪ Constantly monitor and be updated on the safety and security of the teams deployed in ongoing missions.
▪ Abide to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), as instructed by the Operations Manager (s). to ensure consistency in the management of the C3i operations.
▪ Escalate to the Operations Manager (s) any situation that is or may be out of the ordinary routine activities, including emergencies.
▪ Provide real-time logistic support and guidance both in routine activities as well as in case of any emergency by ensuring the required flow of information between the concerned parties.
▪ Provide preliminary advice to NSSG clients in case of emergency.
▪ Interact with the clients’ corporate security teams during both routine and emergency situations.
▪ Compile daily reports related to NSSG domestic and overseas activities.
▪ Compile “situation reports” (SITREPs) following any event out of the ordinary in NSSG’s ongoing operations.
▪ Constantly update the NSSG team through advisories and other notifications based on the operational monitoring activities.
▪ Perform other related duties and special tasks as required.
