Chief Accounting Officer

The Chief Accountant is responsible for coordinating all accounting activities within the PartnerVet group, ensuring the accuracy and fiscal and financial compliance of all operations.

A. Accounting & Reporting
Coordinates the accounting activity for all entities within the group.
Supervises trial balances, tax returns, and the month-end closing process.
Validates financial statements and inventory processes.
B. Financial Control & Compliance
Monitors tax legislation and internal procedures.
Reviews cost centers and provides managerial recommendations.
Manages the relationship with auditors and tax authorities.
C. Team Management
Leads the accounting team and provides training.
Implements standard accounting procedures.
D. Support for M&A & Clinic Integration
Analyzes the accounting of newly acquired clinics.
Participates in due diligence and accounting integration.
E. Processes & Systems
Collaborates on ERP implementation.
Optimizes accounting workflows and reconciliations.
Role Requirements
Education & Certifications:
University degree in Economics.
CECCAR Certified Accountant – a strong advantage.Experience:
Minimum 5–7 years of full-cycle accounting experience.
Experience in leading a team.Technical
Skills:
Advanced Excel.
Experience with accounting ERP systems.
Personal Skills:
Attention to detail, organization, communication, and integrity.
KPIs & Objectives
On-time submission of tax returns.
Month-end closing within 7–10 days.
