Location: Pitesti
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to join our manufacturing facility and take ownership of the full accounting function.
This is a key leadership role within the finance team, responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement of accounting processes in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations within the manufacturing site (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, cost accounting)
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes
- Manage and mentor a small accounting team of 5 professionals
- Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and internal policies
- Coordinate audits and act as primary contact for external auditors
- Drive process improvements and efficiency in financial reporting and controls
- Support management with financial analysis, budgeting, and cost control in a production environment
- Ensure accurate cost accounting and inventory valuation in a manufacturing setting
Descrierea jobului
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar accounting/finance leadership role
- Strong hands-on experience in manufacturing / production accounting
- Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA (SAP HANA) is essential
- Professional certification (e.g., CECCAR or equivalent) is required
- Advanced English level (spoken and written) is mandatory
- Proven experience in managing and developing small teams (approx. 5 people)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent understanding of financial processes, controls, and reporting standards
