Candidatul Ideal

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Accountant to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from day-to-day accounting and end of month/year closing activities to reporting and declarations to authorities. The Certified Accountant will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of accounting principles to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Main responsibilities:
  • Managing day-to-day company accounting and book-keeping
  • Activities which may include General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Inter-Company, VAT and Tax reporting transactions, Inventories, Reporting, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable
  • Processes and checks journals according to the defined procedures and accounting principles, and legislation
  • Produces routine accounting reports, schedules, and summaries for management
  • Double checks statements, ledgers, and accounts to identify unusual or overdue items and selects the correct procedure to verify or adjust discrepancies or errors, prepare inventory reporting, responsible for stock management
  • Responds to specific questions for managers and clarify various aspects when necessary
  • May include adaptation activities to update accounting policies and accounting control procedures; main support for external auditing
  • Ensure all journal entries comply with external audit specifications
  • Conduct accounts reconciliation periodically, ledger close activities, and provide accurate financial data to support management in decision making
  • Intrastat, BNR reporting, E-factura, SAF-T reporting
  • End of month, quarter, and year close activities; monthly balance sheet closing, process and the business review of P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Assure ad hoc support for different projects & requests
  • Preparing periodical declarations for tax authority.
Requirement and qualifications:
  • Education: University degree in Economics/ Accounting + CECCAR certification
  • Min. 5 years of Certified Accountant experience (hands-on accounting)
  • Advanced knowledge of English is a plus
  • Proven knowledge of finance and accounting processes and process improvements
  • Very good computer skills related to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • SAP Knowledge is a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure during peak periods and respecting the deadlines
  • Team player and ability to work in a flexible way
  • Attention to details.
