We are looking for: Assistant to the Category Management
In this role, you will support the team in implementing strategies to grow category performance and improve customer satisfaction.
We are waiting for you in the team if:
Completed vocational training and/or high school diploma/ Bachelor’s degree
First experience in the role of Category Management Assistant or in a related role
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English and Romanian.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

This role will require you to:
Assist in the analysis of sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for category growth.
Support the development and implementation of category plans, including pricing, promotions, and assortment strategies.
Prepare reports for the purchaser to facilitate day-to-day activities.
Maintain accurate records of category performance and assist in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
Actively participate in assortment analysis sessions (KBA).
Conduct minor telephone negotiations on behalf of the buyer related to promotional proposals, delivery times, quantities, etc.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment on category objectives.
Participate in various specific projects within the purchasing department.
Oversee master data maintenance at the article and supplier level.
Provide support and resolve issues reported by collaborating departments (sales, category management, logistics, accounting).
