Candidatul Ideal

The successful candidate will have the following:
  • A University degree in Computer Science/Informatics/Engineering (or similar)
  • Solid sofware development knowledge & previous experience with C# and .NET Framework
  • SCRUM or other agile methods professional previous training or experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a professional software developer
  • Experience in managing/leading software projects or in training other team members
  • Experience with intralogistics or other business processes (e.g. warehouse management systems/financial/commercial/management/purchasing software)
  • Working with RDBMS like SQL Server and Oracle
  • Desktop and Web development skills
  • ASP.NET Core, Typescript and Angular
  • Cloud Knowledge is an advantage
  • Modern Programming Techniques, CQRS, Design Patterns and Clean Code development are needed
  • Good entrepreneurial, business acumen and leadership skills
  • Willingness to travel to other Kardex locations worldwide
  • Very good communication and collaboration skills in a multinational context and ability to work as part of a team
  • English - advanced both verbally and in writing

If software is your passion and you want to have an impact in the intralogistics areas of various industries ( automotive, e-commerce, retail, food & manufacturing, pharma, etc), join our globally distributed software development Kardex team that develops smart software for the stock management and material handling systems and thus help us increase our professional support to the sales and services teams with consulting and development services!

We are looking for a C# Software Developer for the regional services and projects, a person located in Romania who is on one hand very technically oriented and who is on the other hand also a communicative and service-oriented person with clear focus on customer satisfaction and value.

In this role, in terms of consulting services you will be in charge to:
Support sales by analyzing customer environment to get proper software requirements and to specify customer specific software solutions based on the Kardex standard software
Consult customers in terms of general IT, standard Kardex software,interfaces and connectivity
Build up technical experts for dedicated technologies to support Kardex development world-wide
Train and coach sales and life cycle services

In this role, in terms of software development services your focus will be to:
Implement customer specific software solutions based on the Kardex standard software
Support deployment and launch customer specific solutions on site
Handle change requests
Deliver software development tasks from other Kardex Software subsidiaries and from the core product development team based in Germany

Main responsibilities:
  • Act as a starting and foundational team member in a newly established software development team in Romania
  • Create a trustful work relationship by meeting deadlines and quality standards of work delivered
  • Able to fast learn and integrate in the team and implement software development tasks in alignment with the external and internal partners
  • Support onboarding of new team members in Romania in co-operation with Romania based HR and with other professionals based in Germany
  • Foster good communication channel with sales and life cycle services departments
  • Build up necessary competencies in the team either by hiring or by training
  • Facilitate communication and alignment with the management regularly and proactively
  • Reports directly to the Senior Director Software based in Germany
  • Possible career target expansion is to build and manage teams with 3-10 team members
  • Ensure software projects delivery and success according to deadlines and requirements
  • Responsible for the own team 's results and the end customer satisfaction
  • Ensures projects delivery in time, in budget, in quality and in scope
