Business Analyst - Asset Management Team

The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues. This candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to company leadership.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current and past financial data and performance to make recommendations on profit enhancement.
• Consistently analyze financial information based on both routine and ad-hoc reports.
• Interpret financial data to recognize changing trends, patterns, and their meaning related to key performance indicators.
• Process of preparing individual and consolidated budgets.
• Communicate financial insights suggesting business issues to management.
• Prepares financial analysis reports of the companies of interest and makes recommendations.
• Assist with short and medium term financial planning.
• Prepares and monitors budgets at assets level.
• Involved in budgeting processes.
• To draw from a wide range of macro-economic and opportunity specific factors that are applied to screening and evaluation of investment opportunities.

Required Knowledge and Experience
A real estate background is not mandatory.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance or equivalent experience.
Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
