This role is an excellent starting point within the business, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to look behind the scenes of a fast-growing Language Service Provider on a hybrid basis, working 10am-7pm, Monday - Friday. As a Booking Coordinator, based in the Operations Department, you will provide support to all areas within the business, as well as communicating with our interpreters and clients. The role offers a great opportunity to learn a wide variety of skills within a fast-paced growing area of the business. We are looking for highly organised, self motivated, quick thinking individuals to join our successful and ever expanding team.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- To manage a large amount of inbound & outbound calls in a professional manner, booking interpreters onto relevant jobs, resolving queries and liaising with other departments
- Multitasking between calls, alongside handling a large volume of emails from clients and interpreters
- Manage internal and external emails promptly and efficiently.
- Maintaining professional communication with interpreters and clients regarding their bookings when dealing with queries
- Prioritising tasks within the team, showing organisation, quick thinking and flexibility
- Assist other departments when support is required
- Troubleshooting to ensure we provide the best possible service in unexpected scenariosAbout YouExcellent English language skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience of working in fast paced, pressurised environment (essential)
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment (essential)
- Effective listening, communication, and strong negotiating skills

- Can use initiative in a pro-active manner
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
