Candidatul Ideal

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing & Collections Specialist to join our finance team. This role is essential in ensuring accurate billing, efficient collections, and excellent customer support for our clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent English communication skills (both spoken and written), a customer-first mindset, and proven experience in billing or collections within a service-oriented business environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound and outbound phone calls and emails related to billing inquiries, payment processing, and account discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with clients to resolve billing issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform account audits to ensure accuracy of invoices and payments.
  • Assist with collections of past due accounts, including follow-up communications and payment arrangements.
  • Work closely with the Billing Supervisor to improve billing processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate and organized customer billing records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and professionalism in all interactions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in billing, collections, accounts receivable, or a related finance/customer service role (MSP or SaaS experience a plus).
  • Strong English communication skills (verbal and written) – must be fluent and articulate.
  • Proven ability to manage inbound/outbound calls and written correspondence with professionalism.
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational and auditing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with billing/finance software, CRM, or ticketing systems preferred.
  • Must be able to work U.S. business hours (9:30 AM – 6:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time/4:30 PM - 1:00 AM Eastern European Time).
Highly Desirable
  • Prior experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP), IT services, or subscription-based business.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 licensing models and basic account management.
  • A patient, empathetic, and problem-solving approach to customer interactions.
  • Strong negotiation skills for handling collections with professionalism.
Terms of the Position
  • Full-time contract employment with CloudScale365 (remote, work from home).
  • Paid in U.S. Dollars.
  • Standard working hours aligned with U.S. Eastern Time Zone.
  • Must be available Monday through Friday, with occasional flexibility preferred.
  • Contractors in Romania must operate through a PFA (Authorized Natural Person) or SRL (Limited Liability Company) and are responsible for reporting, paying, and remitting their own taxes.
