As a Bakery Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, monitoring, and optimizing the production process to ensure high-quality bakery products are produced safely and efficiently. You will play an important role in maintaining production standards, food safety, and product quality.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a food production environment is an advantage. (at least 1 year in a bakery or as machine operator in a food factory)
- Experience working with slicing or packaging machines is preferred.
- Interest in bakery production and manufacturing processes.
- Good technical understanding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good level of English communication (B1/ B2)
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts.

- Prepare production lines before the start of production.
- Change machine formats when switching products.
- Set machine parameters and production recipes.
- Monitor the production process and product quality.
- Perform quality inspections and report any deviations.
- Resolve basic machine malfunctions and report complex technical issues.
- Record production and operational data accurately.
- Clean machinery and perform first-line maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
- Ensure clear communication during shift handovers.
- Coordinate and support bakery production staff when required.
- Starting salary: €17.76 gross/hour
+34% for evening shifts (18:00 – 24:00)
+37% for night shifts (00:00 – 06:00)

Head Staffing was founded in 2008 as Head Personeelsdiensten, with What’s Cooking from Ridderkerk being our first client. This long-lasting relationship remains a source of pride for us.By 2010, we had already employed 100 flex workers, marking our initial success as a staffing agency.
