- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance;
- Accounting knowledge and analytical mindset;
- 0-2 years of experience, preferably in consulting;
- Confident in using English and Excel, with a willingness to learn new digital tools;
- Proactive, responsible, and collaborative team player;
- Adaptable to different business contexts and client needs.
What defines you if you are an experienced professional:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics;
- 2-5 years of experience, preferably in consulting;
- Solid accounting and fiscal knowledge;
- Intermediate level of English and Excel, with a willingness to learn new digital tools;
- Strong self-management and organizational skills;
- Adaptable to different business contexts and client needs.

- Recording and verifying primary accounting documents for a diverse portofolio of clients;
- Performing monthly reconciliations of bank statements and supplier accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies;
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly statutory and management reports by gathering and verifying financial data;
- Contributing to the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance to local accounting standards and tax legislation;
- Providing accounting support to clients, while developing consultancy skills under the guidance of experienced team members.
As an Accounting Consultant at BDO you will develop the appropriate skills and knowledge for performing the following activities:
- Understand client organization dynamics to identify specific accounting needs and provide strategic insights;
- Perform accounting operations, including bookkeeping, trial balances, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements;
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and support clients in meeting reporting deadlines, including audits and regulatory inspections;
- Review junior colleagues, promoting accountability, trust, and proactive problem-solving;
- Improve, alongside the team, client services and internal workflows through process optimization and digital transformation projects.
