Provides insights and recommendations by using advanced data analysis tools and techniques. Collects business requirements and translates into detailed functional specifications. Designs and delivers correct, timely and complete reports that supports decision-making. The Accountant is responsible for managing end-to-end accounting processes across Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Banking, Asset Accounting, and Compliance reporting. This role ensures accurate financial records, timely payments, and adherence to statutory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable: Process supplier invoices, manage customs documents and prepare supplier payments and correspondence.
Accounts Receivable: Create customer invoices, manage intercompany billing, and follow up on outstanding invoices.
Banking: Reprocess bank statements with correct VAT/clearing and verify bank account reconciliations.
General Ledger: Upload entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and validate exchange rates.
Asset Accounting: Run depreciation and ensure reporting aligns with Balance Sheet and P&L.
Compliance & Reporting: Prepare VAT returns, budget comparison reports, and audit documentation.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong knowledge of AP, AR and compliance processes.
Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP S4Hana - Nice to Have, but not mandatory)
and MS Excel.
Understanding of VAT, tax regulations, and statutory reporting.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively across teams.
Good knowledge of English, written as well as spoken Nice to Have (but not mandatory)
